Lo Contador Campus
Santiago · 2016
Lo Contador Campus houses the Architecture, Design School, the Institute of Urban Studies, as well as several study centers of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. This complexity of users and venues often makes it difficult for visitors to navigate, who must move around a space that is small in size but very complex in activities. The proposed design seeks to alleviate this situation through a series of modular panels that give identity to the complex while respecting the heritage value of the main building of the Campus. The modular system includes directional and identification information, as well as historical information about the Campus. In this way, continuity is delivered to this Campus, made up of a diverse number of architectural styles and programs.
