Metro Line 6

Santiago · 2016

The Metro of Santiago has a crucial role in the city, transporting an average of 2.3 million people every day. This project focused on the design of the signage manual for the new line number 6. This included designing all typologies of signs required in a Metro station such as identification signs, directional information, maps and instructional information.

My role in this project was as a technical consultant, and our mission as a team was to optimise the production budget associated with the wayfinding system item. Apart from creating the signage manual and the sign templates, my responsibility included preparing a tender document and itemisation of the signage item, produced and installed by an external supplier.
